What Is A Plant-Based Diet?

A Plant-Based Diet is a diet focused on consuming plant-based foods to nourish yourself. These foods include rice, pasta, most breads, tofu, lentils, beans, nuts and seeds and of course all your fruits and vegetables. Consuming these foods on a regular basis have been scientifically proven to be better for your overall health and well-being as they are protective against cardiovascular diseases, Type-2 Diabetes, as well as several types of cancers including breast, colon and prostate cancers. A plant-based diet
does not have to be boring and you absolutely do not have to only eat salads. There are lots of delicious vegan recipes that are healthy and wholesome without compromising on taste and flavours. With that said,
there is always room for dessert! We do not want to live a boring life now do we? It is a myth that a plant-based diet is more expensive.
